Hello forums! Today i am coming to you for help. I recently bought FO3:GOTY edition in the quakecon sale on steam and i cannot seem to get it to stop lagging on the loading screen, the menu screen and about 20 minutes into the game (where you are escaping from the vault) I launch the game Via steam. When i first click the shortcut, it automatically puts me on Ultra settings and 1080x1920 resolution. I can rung games like Portal 2/ARMA 2 (DayZ) highest settings with no problem I have tried all the patches i could find and it still lags. Please help forum because i would love to play this game!

Steam has a disclaimer on the store page for Fallout 3 saying it is not setup for windows 7 I think that is your problem.
