Steam question > Can I select in which language I want S

Hi,

I want to buy Skyrim but, since I live in Spain, the version that will be available in the stores will of course be the Spanish one. Well, that poses a problem since the version I want to get my hands on is the American one. Ive been told that I have 2 main options, either I buy the game online via Amazon or similar or I rely on Steam. Steam seems quite handy since I can download the game, thus saving in shipping costs. However, my big question is

If I buy Skyrim from Steam using my of course Spanish account, will I be able to get the American version of the game or for some reason Steam will automatically choose the Spanish version for me?

If you buy a disc version, it's very likely that due to limited disk size, your disk will only include the sound files for spanish. This is the reason why you couldn't change language in Oblivion and not by some desire to prevent you from playing the english version I'd say.

In Skyrim case, since the game uses Steamworks, it'll will require you to use Steam either. Then it'll probably allow you to change freely the language in Steam. A caveat though, is that since your disk only includes the spanish language, Steam will likely have to replace your Skyrim version with the english one through erasing the spanish files and downloading the english ones which might take some time, and might make switching from one language to the other redownload all that again.
