Stereo 3D Gaming Yes or NO

Currently with a nice samsung 23" led monitor and thinking about an upgrade(gonna sell some chit on ebay).
Anyways i suffer terribly from sore eyes /sea sickness when features like AA, AF, blur, DOF are enabled so i game with the crispest jaggiest lookin' setup you can achieve.
Is 3d for me?, is it any good in games?, lookin at 3D monitors they're generally 23" the same as what i got now, should i just go for a nice 27" regular?
I only ever seen stereo 3D on the tiny nintendo 3DS, what's it like watchin' movies with nvidia 3D?, i heard it's mega, have you got a 3D setup and how is it does it need mega GPU /CPU horsepower?
How's Crysis2 in 3D?

Or you could get a 27" 3D monitor :) I have the Acer HN274H 27" 3d monitor with gtx 570 sli and i7 2600k @ 4.5ghz. On all ultra settings dx11/hi res textures I stay solid 60fps with vsync enabled when gaming crysis2 in 3D - occasional dips to 45 at the lowest (in single player)

So...does crysis 2 in 3D look good? It looks great!!! one of the best i've seen - i barely notice the "halo" around the gun which is why it is rated excellent by nvidia (instead of '3d vision ready').

But...i have to be 100% honest with you - when playing multiplayer i usually only use 2D. The reason for me is because i also have a gaming headset and it just doesn't work nice with the big nvidia 3d glasses. Single player though I have definitely played the whole campaign a couple times in 3d. I'm just wondering how my rig is gonna do with BF3 in 3D :p

my final point...if you want something cool to game with every now and then and to impress your friends with - then get 3d. If you live alone and hide your PC building obsession so you don't look like a complete geek (luckily i was already married when i became obsessed with building pc's) - then just stick with 2d - you won't really notice a difference after 30-45 minutes of gaming - you get used to it :)

Hey i just been lookin' at some 3d forums and i heard about the Acers, they come highly recommended too(especially for nvidia cards, folks were sayin' for AMD go with samsung).
It's £550 on amazon.uk, very pricey indeed. :P
I want a bigger monitor for watchin' movies, and 120Mhz for games, yeah i'd imagine i'd drop dead after a round of C2 MP in 3D, i'd do the SP though like yourself.
There is just too much high quality visual content being released this year not to take advantage if possible(probably have to put my SandyBridge upgrade on hold though), movies AND games.
I buy blu-rays often and many are 3D too, i bet i'd adore watchin' 3D movies ..., i must go try it out first in some store sometime soon, the 27" may be a litle pricey for me though so i may just go for the 23", it would still be sweet, cause it's 120Mhz i could have the monitor closer without so much eye strain, Hmm ... :)

I read that 24" fills the peripheral vision just fine doesn't it...?
