Skyrim intoduced dragonborn and special
Powers and i cant see bethesda shelving it forever or years
My theory is the hero is part android and in being part android has super human powers similiar to dragonborn
Interesting idea, though personally I don′t think that′s their approach. But who knows?
It would depend on what they smoke, wouldn't it?
Doubtful.
Personally I think that the flashback scenes in the trailer indicate that we will get button prompts every once in a while in the post-apocalyptic wasteland which when we press the "shout" button the character will have a photographic memory flashback to what happened in the area he's currently at during pre-war times, he gets to spectate his own memory but no NPC in the pre-war flashback sequence will force any characterization on you. It's basically a window-through-time kinda thing.
Personally I prefer building up someone that's a nobody using experience than just being 'born' with super powers and being special right from the get go.
Perhaps the memory den is a kind of "drug"? I don't mean drug as in it gets us high, but it allows wastelanders to escape their depressing world and return to before the bombs fell in the form of memories? Perhaps the player character will have side-effects of this.
I don't need or want super powers though. The PC becomes overpowered as it is and doesn't need a fus-ro-dah (sp?) to enhance this.
I hope they don't force us to be anything.
I really don't see that happening. Just because Bethesda makes both games, I really don't see our character foos-ro-da'ing super mutants across the wastes. Although, it would be funny. I can see an android being extremely strong, able to enter radiated areas, and maybe see infrared, but nothing extremely crazy.
I would rather have a completely optional cybernetic-implant's like FO2/NV, but with cool abilities and bigger social impacts.
They would also carry a downside so they are balanced with those who want to play as all natural.
having the option to become part cyborg would be cool, but that isn't how I would like to start the game.
Except that they won't.
It seems like everything in any [recent] Bethesda title, is just a different kind of plus. Am I mistaken here? (Honest question)
I always wanted the implants in NV to be actually visible, so that I could be a badass cyborg cowboy.
Something that I wouldn't mind in Fallout 4.
