I have tried everything I know and have been told on how to favorite and keep them favorited my legendary daedric swords..however nothing I do works. It always keeps them in my favorites as Daedric Sword (legendary) (2) and hot key or not it will not put two of them on, only one. Is there any workaround for this or am I to keep wearing a sword and axe so that I can dual wield without going through 4-5 different menus?


Edit: I figured i'd mention, I can get it to work by seperatly equipping/favoriting them and not hot keying them, but when I switch to dual wield magic (such as heal) it groups them together again and I am unable to DW them through the favorites menu.

Even though I'm not an enchanter, I've started enchanting my weapons just to force a different itemID. This seems to solve the problem.

If you feel too munchkin about that, just use a petty gem and let the charge run out.

If you equip them BOTH, then hotkey the one in your right hand, it'll remember that combo.

I actually thought of doing that, I knew that was a workaround..however elemental fury does not work with enchanted weapons (not sure if it does when the weapon is discharged or not).

In that case consider putting a dagger in left, or an axe?

I know that solution either eats more perk points, or loses you a little damage. Not ideal either way. This bug annoys me to no end, too

Indeed, thats what I have bene doing, Axe in one hand sword in the other. Just eats up more perks as you said. any idea if beth has acknowledged this bug?

Also remember if you dual wield 1h weapons, both there attack speeds are determined by the left 1h weapon. So dagger in left hand will cause the mace in the right hand to be the same speed. But yeah this is an annoying bug, hope they fix it soon.
