STILL can't recruit Veronica

Post » Mon Oct 18, 2010 9:16 pm

Post-patch and still unable to recruit Veronica. All I can say to her is 'goodbye'. Getting all the companions is the last achievement I have needed for a while. This bug is preventing me from getting it.

I have over 100 hours invested and am not starting over just to recruit ONE companion. Why couldn't this be fixed in the patch?

I wouldn't worry about it. Just play the game without recruiting her. You can still go visit the BoS bunker. Just pretend like she wasn't even put in the game.

I've already done that. I'm down to having nothing left in the game to do except her stuff. The real bottom line is the fact that I can't get the last achievement the game has to offer because of this bug. Which is, recruiting all of the companions. I've been sitting on 975/1000 for quite a while now. I had been hoping that they would address this in the 'big' patch.

I've recruited Veronica, but after I left her in the Lucky 38, she's disappeared.
My World Map says she's in the in between the area and West Vegas, I've done everything form check all the buildings to underground in Central Sewers, and she's nowhere to be found.
Honestly the shortcuts in the map by traveling underground obviously have created problems.
How about the 2 NCR Troopers guarding the Camp McCarran entrance ladder even though I'm on the other side of Vegas?

I was thinking about this more... do you have a trusted friend who plays NV? Maybe you could let them log in with your gamertag account and get the achievement on their xbox? Something to consider.
