Still can't sell larceny target after Patch 1.9

Post » Thu Apr 11, 2013 11:55 am

On PS3, one of my characters was unable to sell an Eye of the Falmer during "The Litany of Larceny." Note that I was able to sell the other items successfully I figured since this was going to be fixed in Patch 1.9, I could wait. It turns out that it still doesn't work. Has anyone else encountered this post Patch 1.9?

I don't think they covered it for if you already had those before the patch, the encoded journal could be fixed easier because well . . . I was done with the quest line and now I have a book written in the Falmer language to read (I just wish that damn thing had a translated version after the quest line though)

You will have to start a new game (or loading a save prior to starting the Thieves' Guild questline "might" work) to have the fix take effect, I have the same exact problem with my existing game, my last larceny items was also the Left Eye of the Falmer. The problem in both of our cases is that the script that activates the quest to turn in the last item is already bugged and the fix in patch 1.9 will not fix an already bugged script. You will find that this same situation is true with a number of the other patch fixes as well.
