This game is just fine for me. The bugs are like nonexistant :D And multiplayer is freakin amazing! No hacker in sight the past 4 days of playing. ALSO, the physics in this game are the same as Crysis 1. Just not a lot of physics or destructiblity to play with. But no worries, Sandbox Editor 3 comes summer (or so that's the aim I think). And DX11 is also to come soon. I'm satisifed with my purchase, Crytek hasn't let me done, and considering the amount of players online, I see they still have a strong fan base. The forums are like a magnet for the haters....seriously, the people appreciating the game aren't really around because well...they're playing!! XD

Being a minion of BIS, i have seen and accepted far worse offerings than what people claim Crytek have done. So long as they patch it, i'm fine.

Is it just me or we are already supported crytek as much as we could: WE BOUGHT THE ORIGINAL GAME! It was 30$ not 10 or 20.
Some people maybe bought the version which was +100$...

Many of the players developed issues to be fixed... and there is no response from CryTek.

Who do You want to support? :>

This game should be planned in a better way!

Next time, when (or if) they will release Crysis 3 Im not buying it before users on such forum as this one will provide a feedback.
I really like to know if Im spending +30$ for something that is finished or something that looks like finished.

hey guys,

I think, we should support Crytek.
I do really hope, EA rushed the release, and we all know, Crytek can do great games, and what we currently got is a great game... but not what we expected.
We should support them, let's hope they are working on a big patch with many bugfixes and hopefully much better graphics.
They may lost a lot of their reputation, but I think, they can get the reputation back, if they release a proper patch

Cross your fingers!

Yep, you're right, they made great games, I mean, they made one of the best FPS ever when they made Crysis.
Let's also hope that they will have a mindblasting comeback with whatever game they're doing next.

I agree, but the fact is that they relased a great game with a lot of bugs...ON PC!!!
So why the console version is not so bugged? I hope they'll fix these bugs soon, because it's getting stupid.
And no, I won't re-sell my game back to my shop, because of:
1- It's a great game, with many problems, but IT'S A GREAT GAME. I'm enjoying very well it's potential and I'm partially satisfied.
2- In Italy just few shops accept PC used games.

I still haven't run across this plethora of bugs people are talking about... "It's buggy its buggy aaaargh its buggy" but what **** bugs are you talking about? I have seen at max 1 or 2 bugs in the SP campaign, having completed it once and on my second play through. Where are the bugs?

Obviously those who have hope have no concept of foresight.
Seeing you lack this ability that most humans pocess, i will give you some foresight.

Yes they made great games in the past. This is far from "great"
The MP could have been great but due to "Maximum Bugs" they have doomed any chance this game has of becoming great. By the time the patches resolve the issue the "slightly different" gameplay offered to MP, will be long dead and forgotten except by the "die hard" fans of the game.

In which case you sit with another case of Crysis Wars. Which after all the patches was indeed a great game. But lacked a big player base due to frustrated players moving along.

Also, with the lack of a "supported" mod community maps will take forever and you will also have to pay to play new maps. In which case, see above. MP will die off pretty quickly.

Perhaps in the states this is no big deal with the big overall online community. But in smaller countries the game will not see more than 15 players a night within the next 4 months.

I hope we get mod support. I still can't believe that a company like Crytek (which says the community is very important for them) wouldn't release any mod tools (with Crysis 2 Asssets of course)

+1 <--first one.... I got the same vibe... and the bugs I DID see were gone with the 1.2 patch.

And I dont care about MP since I still dont understand getting this game for MP...... I mean, was Crysis 1/Crysis Wars REALLY that good? Really? Or are people just looking for reasons to bich and finding not enough people care about the "DX11" excuse?

from my understanding crysis 1 and warhead had better details/physx and such with a older engine

now we have decent graphics but less details/physx.

about the dx11 if they made this game for dx11 then yes its worth waiting, but what i seen also from leaked beta, is that they never finished dx 11, that shows me they promised a high end game that they couldnt not deliver from day one.

you dont care about mp but alot here do

Mp is fun as long everything works

it dont matter what game you play, battlefield call of duty medal of honor as long you have cheaters around, you dont enjoy a game as much as it deserves.

to atleast enjoy this game alittle more we need anticheat detection and working rcontools/admintools to kick ban and whatever to keep your rented server playable.

if they would do that, then i dont care waiting for patches to fix other things, but right now there is no use playing this game, because some no lifers are destroying our fun in this game.

This has nothing to do with bugs though. As far as I have seen and experienced, in SP and MP, there are very very few bugs (even though people are screaming about bugs like they're an alien hiding around every corner waiting to scare the living crap out of you).
I can agree that cheaters and hackers have it way too easy of getting their way, I believe, though, that Crytek will come up with a solution so that we, at least, see fewer of them. I think they are looking for the best solution to this, which is why it is taking longer than expected.

I'm having great fun with the MP an the SP was great too.

I've encountered some bugs :
- Connection to host failed - The only bug I'm having problems with.
- AI glitches - Bullet to the head usually fixes this.
- Nano Catalyst - Patched!
- I NO CAN MELEE? - Patched!

Simply put :
Crysis 2 = awesome
Crytek = awesome
EA = >:[
Cake = lie

There next release is an XBOX 360 exclusive! Personally i hope its a flop.

Crysis 2 did not come close to the numbers they expected.

Personally I don't believe they care to be honest.. the game itself is brilliant at the moment but as you can see there is no input from the developers on these forums. We end up having to help each other out as if we're Crytek's customer support. Plus like dirkdevlaams mentioned we have to rely on random third parties and their appreciated efforts.

But still lol. If Crytek surprised me with a LAN Multiplayer in the next update I'll be over the galaxy.

Sry, but in my opinion you are wrong. Physics and Graphics are better in Crysis 1.
(but I still hope and think, Crytek can patch that)

It's not an opinion, it's a fact. Physics ARE just as good in Crysis 2 as in Crysis 1. Seriously, they are the SAME exact things. But we have different and LESS objects in New York City in Crysis 2. That is why they may SEEM worse, but the laws of Physics applies just as well in Crysis 2 as in Crysis 1. Now I don't promote or condone use of the Sandbox Editor 3 that was leaked, but on youtube, there are physics of Crysis 2 showcased. They are just as good as in Crysis 1.

Also in terms of Crysis graphics, do not forget vanilla Crysis is what you compare to Crysis 2. The only advantage Crysis 1 has are the following: High-res textures, natural setting. But then again, a natural setting map for Crysis 2 will make the natural setting in Crysis 1 mean nothing. The ONLY thing Crysis 1 has better is high-res textures and paralex mapping. Crysis 2 actually has stronger and illuminated lighting, better water effects (much better, with the ripples), and better particles.

EDIT: Got a physics vid for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdvEgC2XlSs

Also I did a bit of research on Crysis 2 and it seems Crytek did a mistake with some of their objects. You know the sofas in the game? They accidently put the weight of sofas to like, 3 times the weight of a car. So kick a car in the game. Okay it looks cool, you seem powerful. Kick a sofa. It barely budges. That's because the programmers made the sofa too heavy, so essentially, the game registers that you kicked a 10 ton (hyperoble here) sofa. That's programming problems really.
