still having crashing

I posted a while back about oblivion crashing and was told i should reinstall it to somewhere other than program files, I Did this and it still crashes. i turned down graphic just incase was the problem but the crashes continue...

i am on my phone so i have to make multiple posts otherwise i cant see what im typing... i used boss to sort my load order so thats not it either. i saved right before a crash, the save isdurring the main quest right after you get mythic dawn commentris vol. 3 and everyimeit crashes a few seconds after i get the book. any ideas? i would link to the otherread but as i said i am on my phoneand my internet on my phone isnt the greates.

i used obmm's conflict detector and alot of them turned up red, is this what it could be? also when i tried to use BOSS again it gives me an error ''boss/masterlist.txt could not be read!'''

i got boss to work again and on salmo the baker, cobl plugin it says it can cause crashes. ill try disabling it.

I don't know what the green ones mean but the I can open the red ones and see exactly what parts of what mods conflict with different parts of other mods. I am unsure how to resolve the conflicts, any help would be appriciated.

Merge only..... but, you don't even have a bashed patch in your load order...... Do you use Wrye Bash at all? That's what the tag suggestions are all about as well.

You have installed extra plugins that you do not need for Cobl. You should only use one plugin for DBShadowset, not every plugin in the mod. The BOSSlog is ten times more useful than the conflict detectors in OBMM, if you are new to a modded Oblivion.
You do not have Martigen's Monster Mod or Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul so you do not need the MMM-Cobl and the OOO1.32-Cobl esp's either.
There is an Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch, An Unofficial Official Mods Patch by Quarn and Kivan, and an Unofficial Patch Supplementals by Arthmoor that you should also install.
If you are considering Wrye Bash to make this setup work, then you need to learn how to read a readme file completely before you install anything more into your Oblivion game.
For your unrecognised mods clothing and armors can usually be placed alphabetically between the VA_BetterGold esp and Vvardenfell Imports. A patch like the Craftybits-Npc's with jobs glue should be placed after the Craftybits esp and also after the NPC's with jobs esp.
The Conflict Detectors in OBMM are almost pointless because of the troubleshooting mods that are now available. You should look at pinned topics on these Oblivion Forums and visiting a website like TESIV:POSitive before you try and tackle installing Wrye Bash. To play with CLS Craftybits you should have a printer so you can reference the guides when you do make things.

guys, boss shows all mods whether active or not. i am only using one dbarmor and i have already disabled salmo. only on db is checked, also i only have the craftybits plugins i need checked. do you guys think im that stupid?

although i have both cls-craftybits.esm and cls-craftybits.esp active at the same time is this the problem? if you guys look at the conflict image it shows all of the ones i have active (checked).

I was asleep between five and around eleven-my first day back at work after vacation. The conflict detectors in OBMM show everything that conflicts with Oblivion.esm as red. Remake your OMOD's to support a mod with more than one esp by extracting the necessary meshes and textures and one esp into a folder in Documents, then convert the folder into an OMOD, or learn how to make an OMOD installation script.
To show your active mods using OBMM go into Import/Export, click on view load oder and post the result instead of a BOSSlog.
Pay attention when you activate an OMOD version of something like COBL, or you do get a LO that does have missing Masters and guarantees a CTD every time.
Try removing any mod the current version of BOSS does not recognise, If you want to use Crafty-bits then try it without using NPC's with jobs, until you get more experience with how to adjust your Load Order and installing multiple mods that need Wrye Bash to work together.

i am lost on most of what you just said but ill go to the library tomorrow and get wrye bash. i just found not only will it crash after a short tme but it crashes everytime without fail when i tr to fast travel to the elven gardens district in the imperial city. i also read a thing stating that not all conflicts are bad, how does one deterine which are bad?

ok ill check it out when i get to a comp. i disabled one of the unrecognized mods, a coble nwj one and it no long crashed when i fast travel to the elven gardens however it crashed shortly after entering the sewers with baurus.

what is a generic lore script? coblmain.esm has a generic lore script conflict with the unofficial oblivion patch, could this be a problem? btw i am not doing this blindly i am using the tes cs wiki's ''understanding mod conflict reports guide.

The manual for craftybits is a pdf file in the craftybits download.
The UOP,USIP, UOMP fix mistakes with Oblivion, Cobl will overwrite the patches, even though it is usually rewriting the exact same files.
