I experienced this bug since day one of the public release. Whenever using a terminal, the char seems to enter a sitting position. After exiting the terminal, the char semi-randomly stays in this position. If you are stuck like this, you can only look around 90° to the left and right, cannot access the terminal again, move, stand up or anything. The only workaround for me so far is to save the game before accessing any terminal, trying to do whatever you want to use the terminal for and after that, if you are stuck, reload and repeat OR drastically reduce the monitor refresh rate. I have a rather potent system, specs are as follows:

CPU: i5-2500k @4.4 GHz

RAM: 16 GByte

GPU: Nvidia GTX 980 Ti

Monitor: ASUS ROG Swift 2560x1440@ up to 144 Hz w/ G-Sync

The problem occurs as follows:

@144 Hz ~95% of times

@120 Hz ~50% of times

@100 Hz ~50% of times

@85 Hz - not experienced yet

I bought the 980 Ti solely for this game and it's just bored @85Hz. Please please please fix this bug. I do not have any other issues with the game at even 144 Hz (no animations too fast or anything else I heard about).

It is quite clearly an engine limitation. Using

iPresentInterval=2

To get up to 120fps is the best you can do.

Disable Rivatuner (or similiar) and just play the game. Go play the console version then 60+ fps won't 'bore' you.

I've experienced this too, but my pc never reach more than 60 frames. I believe this bug is not framerate related. It seems the player movement is disabled.

I have Swift monitor too, however, terminal bug happened for me only once in my 11 hrs with the game and I read every single one I can find
