So my power armour was stolen, which is ironic because I've already beaten the game (Wanted to meet a certain beer making robot) and it was parked somewhere surrounded by walls, turrets, and guards so I didn't think a raider could just walk off with it. Anyways, so I went down to where the map showed my power armour's marker and killed everyone there but couldn't find my suit, so I proceeded to pile up all the dead raiders I found in hopes that it would return my suit, and then finally I chucked a hand grenade into the pile of dead raiders and come here.


Is there anyway to actually retrieve my power armor? I noted that the internet seems to be full of information on who will take your power armor and why but nothing really on the actual retrieval process. The icon is by Greentech Genetics but I've scoped that building and the little raider camp in it's shadow to no avail. Anyone got any info?

Frustrating, I see other people asking pretty much the same question and the only answer is how to not have the suit stolen. Which doesn't even come close to being remotely helpful.

From my understanding, NPCs don't like Power Armor without a Fusion Core. My settlers would always go for one of my Power Armor sets before I removed every single Fusion Core out of them. Regarding NPCs with Power Armor already/stolen from you, just remove it's fusion core; by pick-pocketing or forcing it to eject by damaging the core, and they should jump out of it as soon as possible.

Regarding your missing Power Armor, it may have still be stolen by an NPC which you may have killed, which is unfortunate because I don't think you can recover it from dead bodies. Or it could still be still on an NPC but it's stuck in the walls or under the overworld, which is a fairly common problem with Bethesda Gamebryo games (clipping issues).

I have done some TCL exploring around the area were the icon says my power armor should be and unless I accidentally ashed the guy, I didn't see a power armor wearing body. Feels like it's gone gone, might have to grab an empty frame and start over.

If you disintegrated or gooed the raider with your PA, you would only see the pile but you would be able to loot the components from it, same as a regular corpse. However, if you killed the npc wearing your PA, it's lost forever. But, there are like 500 other frames all over the commonwealth.
