...that you have to do the MQ at least up to Diplomatic Immunity to get them all? Is it possible to get the rest without doing other non-TG faction questlines? My current character is not a thief type, but she is a doing-lots-of-things type and has already got a few in her inventory. I was intending to do the SoB (*cough*) on my next character, who I'm planning as an illusion-heavy sneak-thief (probably progressing to DB at some point) but I don't really want to play that character as a Bad Dragonborn or whatever, just a regular (if preternaturally talented) thief.

I'd rather not know the exact locations of stones I've not already come across (which is probably at least half of them) so would appreciate fairly vague answers like 'yeah, you need to do at least the first half of the College of Winterhold' or something like that...
