I just want to put this out there, PLEASE stop comparing elder scrolls and fable. They arent even close to the same game, Fable is for
[censored] 8 year old kids who cant play video games so they gotta play fable. Elder scrolls (all of them) are epic in depth RPGs that
require hours upon hours of gameplay and you still havent seen everything in the game. Plus, i cant freakin stand every single person
with a british accent in fable, and whats even worse is their freakin insults! [censored]! i hate the insults people say in fable "Oh hes such a Farter!"
WHAT THE [censored] DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?!!

My geatest fear is that Skyrim would become a Fable clone (this is pretty much impossible. Right? RIGHT!) Personally I hate Fable.

Chill man. If you allow yourself to get this riled up over everything you disagree with in these forums you wont make it to see the game actually come out. Its not even going to stop anyone from making the comparisons they want to, so this thread is completely useless.

Well if you think about it ALL threads are completely useless. Why? cus its all a bunch of nerds talking about a game that hasnt come out yet (i also am one of those nerds). But really

I've only played fable 2 for a few hours(bout 5) I hated it aswell though. 1 thing I have too say is the magic affects where beautiful

How is it compared to Skyrim?..Even though I recently made a post where I did the same thing but about Dragon Age comparisons, I now accept them because that's the right thing to do. (Even Dragon Age comparisons gave a reason, too)

No, there is value in talking about what new info we have and debating on what may be. For one, its fun, and we can actually learn something we didn't know or think of before. There is only one thing that could come out of this thread that would be productive, and that would be if you(and others like you) realize you should not have a heart attack over the silly things people say. Hopefully that happens sooner rather than later, because people like myself won't see much need in sticking around in a thread that is about nothing but complaining. There are more interesting things to discuss here.

On a serious note - TES and fable have some things in common and a fundamental difference - Fabe is meant to be perceived with a good dose of humor, be light and entertaining, TES is about completely different things. Having that sad, some of the Fable features are good, and if implemented properly would only benefit TES - I for example would love to be able to drag the NPC or even carry them in Skyrim - if they insist on giving us escort missions having a means to control your companion path would be a lifesaver, literally on many occasions

I enjoyed Fable 1 a lot. Moderately enjoyed Fable 2.
They can be compared to TES in some senses, but very few I think.
I adored TES.

Still, I hope a moderator sees this and closes this flame thread and perhaps give you a warning or a suspension.

Do you even know how important a forum is to the entertainment business?...social networking, which this is, helps to make something great and even make the franchise live on or hype it up, its also helpful to get some one to understand something about it...or they just make it worse. You can never be so sure...so don't go off topic here and stick with Skyrim...
