Ok, I have heard enough. If you are here, on this forum and complaining about the fee, you obviously have never played a AAA MMO before, ever. Stop complaining about the fee and taking up space in our forum. It is part of this type of game and will not go away anytime soon, so just shut it. Stop saying a horse for CE pre-orders is pay to win, it is not... it is the same speed as any other horse you can get in the game initially. I don't believe I have even seen anything that says you have access to it at level one, vs whatever level you can get a normal horse at...

So please, quit your crying. If you don't want to pay, or don't want to play with someone else who has a horse which is the same speed as yours, just be quiet and go away... You'll save yourself some embarrassment and save us the aggravation of having to embarrass you.

OP, you seem to be rather uninformed. It is the Western "subscribe to play" model that is extremely outdated, as I have written about in my doctoral coursework and many people in the industry have reported in the past several years. Some examples may be in order.

Guild Wars is one of the top MMOs ever released and it does not charge a fee (not for the first or second game).

Most successful, top of the charts MMOs in East Asia and various other places do not charge fees. If they did, they'd be out of business.

Subscription models are simply another way to segregate the haves and have nots, and the economic facts of the past decade do not indicate that this is a very good idea, at least not if you want a diverse customer base.

Of course, Zenimax is free to do whatever they want with their game. However, everyone, including customers and developers/publishers, have to face the facts of the market as well as the consequences of decisions.

Successful in Asia maybe, utter fails on the western market.

Age of Wushu being a perfect example: wonderful game in theory, if it wasnt so blatantly pay to win that nobody wants to play it.

It is also worth to notice that the only succesful asian MMO on the western market is FFXIV, a game with a subscription fee.

Different markets, different customers, different paying models.

The worst thing about coming to this forums and expressing our opinions is the amount of jack asses who take offense by us expressing our sentiments over the game. People come in here and express their opinion and all you do is whine and call the OP a qqer like holly s.. man look in the mirror. We are simply expressing what we feel. You don't have to reply to thread if you don't like what you read. You will not get special attention from BETHESDa by trying to be a white knight. As a matter of fact they have to actually look at this opinions because we are the ones who will make the decision to actually stay with the game. We are their targeted market. If they ignore the opinion and concerns of the player base they are doomed. So please please, let everyone express their opinions and if you dont have anything other than insult then don't post.
