» Fri Jun 03, 2011 8:13 am One person says it won't be a true sequel because it is on the Xbox 360 and PS3 along with the PC, Guess what, The console versions aren't even able to maximize Cryengine 3 because of the hardware so they say it is run on Cryengine 3 but it is run on more of a Cryengine 2.5 because it is proven that consoles are running it on graphics similar to Crysis 1 on medium graphics. Sorry to say, most things you see online about Crysis 2 are on console and about the Multiplayer which is not only from a different area of Crytek but usually lacks in graphics due to make it so hardware can handle everything that is going on and that it won't crash.
The current version of the demo that is out for the pc has been stated that it is running on DX9 where it is said when the full version comes out it will utilize DX11 and DX9 will be the minimum.
Stop biching about the graphics when they are not even on full display yet.
