That is part of TES now; funny guards with their one liners. Guards are supposed to be annoying to a degree I think, and It's not that unrealistic. I could just imagine them being brainwashed and trained to say those things. It's not as bad as Daggerfall though. HALT! HALT! HALT!...HALT! They should make them a bit more complex, but they should still come off as mindless slaves for the Empire always on the watch for CRIMINAL SCUM!

If we did, we would have the option to decide whether or not to sit it out and RP a prisoner. And while your serving your sentence, youcould have something i your cell to activate whenver you just wanted to finish ur sentence like in OB

Early in the thieve's guild quest line when the are looking for that guy, two dumb guards will often ask each other the same question like

Guard 1: Have you seen Armand Christophe?"

Guard 2: No sign of him sir... Have you seen Armand Christoph?

Guard 1: --runs away and asks Hieronymus Les-- Have you seen Armand Christoph?

Hieronymus Lex: Have you seen Armand Christoph? -stares each other down for 5 seconds, then guard 1 runs away-

hmmmmm i do hope the guards have personality and are not mindless robots.

on another note i always compared the guards to the zerg from starcraft. somewhere somehow i know there is a giant guard overmind type thing which has psychic and future seeing powers so it can stalk the players every move

I hope the prisons are a bit more...decorative? Is that the word? I would like OTHER people to be in the prisons, not just me and one other person...NPC's getting tortured, guards delivering food, letting u out in the yard, handing you books. A friendly guard seaking you a lockpick? Extra food? Weapons and armour? Corrupt guards that come in and beat you?
