You know...after a while, this got annoying, and trust me, I heard it alot. Seeing as how Skyrim will be compared to Oblivion, what do you think the guards should say...not the same thing over I hope. And the prisons, what do you think they will be like?

"Stop good sir, I am afraid you violated the law, im placing you under arrest, you can go to jail, or pay your fine, which is it?" is it to respectful? XD

The guards were hilarious in Oblivion.

Skyrim will hopefully have a lot more voice-actors, and I can see the guards being better but far less memorable.

TES wouldn't be TES without guards like that.

lol as long as the guards arnt to annoying. It wasnt the prisons and fines that kept me from commiting crimes, it was the guards XD

As long as they are not psychic I don't care. I hated killing someone in their house while they were asleep (true assasin style), the victim making no noise, I wasn't seen breaking into the house either and yet 10 seconds later the guard would appear and somehow know what I had just done.

Also a little off topic but I hated how shop keepers knew whether your gear was stolen or not. How would they be able to tell the differnce between a fork found in a barrel and one stolen from Anvil Castle?

Todd said that there were several unique jails, so unfortunately (for the villagers) I am going to have to check them all out.

Todd Howard confirmed there will be a good justice system and different types of prisons. I do hope there are some annoying guards though. I will not miss Oblivion as much.

reading this post made me realize something.. were all the guards imperials... i can't remember an orc guard or dark elf or anything

And i hope they don't arrest you for taking a fork.. I hope they just give like a ticket.. Saying pay this to the imperial legion in so and so days or we'll arrest you... The money would go to better equipment..

as long as i can kill every guard in the vicinity and my bounty goes away i could care less what they sound like. i hated accidently stealing something in a remote inn, killing everyone in and outside of the inn, going to the imperial city and getting arrested for a crime noone coulc have possibly reported. :brokencomputer:

I hope we can actually sit out our jail time, I like having the option to just sleep it off but I'd also like to be able to just stay in my cell and have that count toward my sentence.
