Storage question :)

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 12:02 am

Ok I'm planning on blowing up megaton but am exploiting the town for my own benefit, as soon as I've drained any usefulness out of the town ( recruiting Jericho, moira survival guide, maybe raid armory?) I'll destroy it, in the mean time I've told Mr Burke to take a chill pill.

Ok so I need a home in the meantime. can't remember, if i kill everyone in the super mart will they respawn? And is the first aid kit safe for storage? Need to know before I dump my [censored] there. Thanks :)

Also where do you guys live? Any cool places an evil character might be interested in? I will need more than one base as I want to try and not fast travel at all this playthrough.

Ummm.... add one more thing to your to do list in Megaton. I won't spoil. But it has to do with the first guy you meet in Megaton.
Super Duper Mart is cool.
All ammo crates, safes, first aid kits and nuka cola machines are safe. I mine the places I live in for a little more realism.
Mechanist's Forge. Cool door.
Grayditch. Choose from the houses, all have at least one safe storage.
off the top of my head.

edit: almost forgot: County Mainline Sewer. You might find a very interesting place down there, with safe storage, a clean bed, and a TV which doesn't have a cracked screen. And the Wondermeat place in Jury Metro.

I must say Bethesda did an awesome job with the dialogue in this game, after playing oblivion so long you appreciate it even more.

When I am up north I always use the dikeerson Chapel. It has a bed and ammo containers that keeps things nicely seperated.
The place has no roof though, so it is a good thing it doesnt rain too much. Lol.

Plus it also has a rather good gun nearby....

And those Raiders don't respawn in the Super-Duper Mart. Be careful with that Protectron, though...he has a very short memory.

As for Megaton, don't forget to do some breaking and entering of some of the locked residences, before watching it go up in smoke. There's at least one souvenir that can't be found elsewhere, in one of the homes.
