I have the storage room and I'm not very fond of it at all. There's plenty of other storage in the house, if I had a previous save I'd go for the trophy room for sure.

definitely trophy room, it is awesome looking, while storage is very boring. There are dozens of containers in every house, no matter which wings you choose, so you will never need a dedicated storage room.

storage room is like a hoarders room and the trophy room isnt big enough imo nor does it have enough choices for taxidermy displays and all the poses are from the load screen

I built 3 homes and each one is different on as the trophyroom the other storage and lastly alchemy tower. 3 options for each wing leads to 3 different homes

Unless you're one of those people who must keep his green apples stored separately from his red apples (and everything else), go with the trophy room. There's so much storage available in the rest of the house.

i did one trophy room
way too small
on my last playthu i went with storage to get the porch option
on all my homes and dropped the cellar

the armory has 5 mannequins, with the one on the second floor that makes 6
so i did that on one home
seems like a guy designed this stuff.. with kids i would make the storage room a library and not a tower
and have a playroom.. but thats me

yeah, even without the storage room, each house has more storage than you could possibly use in 3 play throughs, never mind your current play-through.

I like MorGame's idea very much. That way you can actually still choose between what you really want.
If however I could have only one house I would go for the Trophy room, for rhetorically same opinion of everyone else around here.
Though I personally don't really like that room myself. Too small, and too little that can go in there. The idea I like and it still appeals to me.

Trophy room by far. I've had the storage before and I can tell you its a waste of room and money. I re-loaded and got the trophy room.

Built the trophy room today and it's ok. You are limited as to what you can stuff. It's not really a complete open choice. I've had the room bug out though, the room will flicker and the taxidermy will temporarily disappear. Doesn't happen all the time but I've had it happen a few times.

I feel a disturbing sense of pride when my kids go into the trophy room to admire my conquests. Also surrounded the feet of each trophy with their relevant trophy loot (skulls for skeleton, dynamo cores for centurion, taproots for spriggan, etc). looks awesome.

The house has plenty of storage without an entire wing devoted to it, trophy room is better. The only advantage to the storage wing was if you put it with the bedrooms you got a balcony going around half your house. Not sure if it would join up with the kitchen/armory balcony if you had all three, presumably some combination would give you a connecting balcony around 3 sides of the house.

Storage room gives you the outside patio. But the trophy room is better for inside content. Talking of patios the bedrooms, storage, and armoury will give you a fully linked 3 sided patio.
