As fo yet tehy haven't declared which happened. And I hope tehy don't pull a "warp in the north". Its not fitting.

Though I have my own theories as to how tehy are going to handle the whole Great War, Thalmor, Civil War situation.

Agreed, "the Warp in the West" was kind of a one use thing, it was their ace in the the hole, if you will, to explain all the multiple endings for Daggerfall. They can't just keep using a "warp in the " whenever the player has to make a choice.

As I see it, I believe that the Empire is doomed to fall apart. I believe that the Stormcloak victory will be canon, and that the Thalmor will march against man again. But this time men will unite in an alliance, instead of as an empire.
I think that TES VI will be in Valenwood and/or Sumerset Isle, with the MQ about throwing down the Thalmor from the inside.

Just my two cents.

I'm surprised to see the DB questline end mentioned only once. That is a major factor in the whole Civil War and Thalmor issue.

Exactly, thanks for reminding me. That is of course huge. So that's why I believe that the Stormcloaks taking power is canon, seriously.
