Stormcloak Rebellion-Questions

Post » Sat Dec 07, 2013 8:16 am

I don't really want to get spoiled, but I also don't want to spoil others, so forgive if this is a double topic.
Ulfric is such a wannabe power hungry scrub who hates dark elves and puts them and khajiit through what happens to poc irl. Which is a real deal breaker for me.

Very specifically in the quest line, no explanations please, does that situation in the grey district get fixed?

No. Nothing changes after you finish the Civil War quest line other than the uniforms on some of the guards and a few of the Jarls get swapped out for new ones.

That's a horrible shame : ( Oh well. Thanks though. I could just watch a play through of that line instead now. So I don't feel horrible.

it is not like it matters. Lore states that the Empire is right and stormcloaks are murderers, according to some people. Vice-Versa for the other side of it.

Unfortunately, no side ever gets the Grey Quarter fixed.

I blame it on Beth. They should both at least improve conditions.

At least they're a lot happier with Brunwulf

You know, that's like after an election. Everyone (well, at least those who voted for them) is happy with the new government, but ask them again two years laters... :P

Thing is, that's up to debate. If we look at the actual in-game evidence, and not trash talk from Ulfric's enemies, we soon will notice that
1. The first statement is up to interpretetion (some dialogue suggests that this might have some truth in it, other suggests that he has honest motives as well).
2. There's no evidence whatsoever to back up the second statement, that Ulfric hates other races and treats them worse than ANY other Jarl.

As others have said, it's a case of: "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss!"
