thanks for the omod version, I already omoded mine, but your contains a script that allows users to choose what esp they want to use. So thank you..

Lilith that was alot of changes that you made to SI Weather, so it is not a little it is alot by my book also..

On the Lightning Strike take a picture - would it be possible to give the player a ring or a spell that causes this to happen for screenshots purpose..player cast spell, has a countdown so that you can get ready to take screenshot, then once it fires, you hit print screen to take screenshot..just an idea..

That great script is by Ismelda Lasombra.

Yes it would be possible to give the ring, but I think it would be too much for a feature so few people would use... I think finding the screenies in a fraps video is quite fast if you have a good pc.

Not sure if it's a bug or just a glitch in my own game but for some reason when I cast a lighting bolt it feels like it's extremely slow to draw as if it takes a second to get to each direction change. I don't remember it being anywhere near this slow in v2.9 and it really wrecks any lightning spells for me I much prefer how they were. If there any way of either disabling the change in the lightning bolt effect?

I have found the same thing, unfortunately. The shock bolt (between me and an imp) is very wide and stays for a long time... I'm going to try running Lame's Lightning Bolt change after S&S ... it should change the properties back somewhat (can't say what the lightning will look like, though, lol). :)

Actually nothing was changed from version 2.9 in that regard. I've just tested it and the bolt is identical to the 2.9 version. It may be a conflict with another mod. Anyway the changes in the bolt effect must be undone with the CS since they are not done via script. They are changes to actual game settings.

im using this mod after enhanced weather and noticed that the rain storms are really short. like in 30 seconds or less. is there some setting i have to change in either EW or Storms and sounds? thank you for this mod i forgot how much i missed the interior sounds.......very relaxing in my imperial shack.

i dont know if it matters but my timescale is set to 5 and i have the transitions thing in enhanced weather disabled.

It may be related to your timescale. Actually I thing having transitions enabled may help, but it may be something else. I tried to fix this once but the solution gave abrupt weather changes which I didn't like at all. Are you using the OBSE version? If you have OBSE that's the best version to use, it works with any weather mod.

I have just tested this again and found that it happens if another mod overrides the changes made to the SHDG effect by this mod. So please try to experiment with your load order. Magic mods are the main suspects here.

OOO is overwriting the shock damage projectile speed - from 10 in S&S to 2 in OOO. The "DO NOT USE - DARKNESS" spell is being overruled by Duke Patrick's script silencer which is removing the model's filename and the thunderclap sound.

You sure you got the latest version of http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15677? Cause the latest version doesn't change any other magic effects besides SEFF.

yeah I'm using the GOLD edition but it's been working great for ages. I think the new one was released so that they cover the script effects Duke uses in his mods, not as a general purpose script silencer (which I'm using it as :P)

I don't use these mods. Have you tried loading Storms & Sound after these ones?

The most recent version (the one called BASIC) ONLY "mends and defends" the Script Effect Magic Effect.

Please use the basic. The gold version was an attempt to "do it all" that failed.

I wasted a lot of time trying to "do it all" in the gold version.
I should have know that was not a practical thing to try to do, but some things you must learn the hard way.

im using the obse version......i downloaded the basic script effect silencer.........do i use the standard one or the beta one. thanks again.

@spookyfx. i would not consider anything you do a waste of time. i cannot wait to try out your magic mod after seeing the video. i just tend to run around and let them use up there magicka before i go on for the kill and considering how wasteful the npcs are it doesnt take long.

I don't know, never used the silencer, try them both and report if you'd like.

Storms & Sounds OBSE Version plus Natural Weather works wonderfully well. Dancing in the rain. I'm happy again. I'm singin' and dancin' in the rain. Dancin' and singin' in the rain. Ah, erm, sorry...

Great. Not raining here, so I guess I'll be dancing in the not-so-hot-anymore sunlight ;).

well...i tired your previous version and i was not really...satisfied.
I compared it with "PJs Lightning Strikes" and it was more immersive (talking about the flashing white screen)
here is what i'm talking about:

at 0:23 for example
...
have you finally added this feature to s&s 3.0 ????
