How about:

subs:
20th june (end 30th june)
20th august (end 30th august)
20th october (end 30th october)

Finals:
20th december (end 30th december)

so ten days of voting, then on the 30th declare a winner (Goes to the finals)
in december we have 3 finalists. the best man wins.


I think fame would be enough of a prize. No need to actually give stuff.

or just put the short and longs together.

You guys are doing monthly? What? The TES fanfiction forum has more going on there, and they still only hold it yearly. If something is good enough to win, it should be good enough to be remembered through the year. Also, we don't do nominations, we simply let people vote. Not for their own, of course.

with the first 3 times the pre-rounds, and the finals in december.

Ok, I've decided to finally make a (semi-)concrete plan as for something organized like this. Here is my plan:

Six Nominations Competitions:
-One every second month on the 20th. (Starting this 20th)
-People post their favorite RP's/stories in the thread and the most popular 3 of each is put into a poll on the 25th.
-Five days of voting.
-One RP winner, one story winner.

And then at the end of the year (10th December-15th) there is a poll where the six nominated RP's and stories are put in a poll and voted for. One winner of each.

The Six Nomination Comps aren't really competitions as much as a way to get the best for the end of the year, and keep people entertained. I'm sure there is a few objections, and also some questions, so go for it. If you think this is a retarded idea, don't flame, please. I'm open to changes and ideas.
