Strange Account Behaviour.

I'm having major issues with my "gamesas" Account; to such an extent I don't want to register my Limited Edition code on it in case I lose it.

The whole problem started when I first signed up on gamesas.com to play the Multiplayer demo; I signed up with the nickname "RiGoRmOrTiS"; however for the full duration of the multiplayer demo I could only sign-in to the website; it wouldn't allow me to sign-in to the game. Lots of other people had the issues and posted but Crytek ignored them... (and then acted suprised at retail.. explain that one)

Now that I have the retail version I'm still having the same problem. So I tried signing up within the game (Rather than the website). This time I used the SAME email address, but changed the nickname to RiGoRmOrTiS_UK; this allowed me to login from within the game; so now I've got two different nicknames on one e-mail address. Didn't think this was possible but hey-ho; it works.

So I decided to go back to the gamesas website and see what happens when I login with my e-mail address. It still goes to my old "RiGoRmOrTiS" nickname. Even though I've now got two nicknames registered to one e-mail address.

Then I thought; I wonder what happens if I delete my account; so I did. Now I can't login with my e-mail address or RiGoRmOrTiS. However I can still login if I put RiGoRmOrTiS_UK as the nickname. However it randomly swaps between RiGoRmOrTiS and RiGoRmOrTiS_UK depending on which page I'm on and if I use my e-mail address as the username to login it fails.

God knows what’s going on; seriously I think a college intern designed and implemented their database.....

oh and I used the "RiGoRmOrTiS_UK" nickname to login to post this; and it shows only "RiGoRmOrTiS".

Like I said.. totally random...

PM'd a moderator about this issue, but my message is stuck in "outbox" - so I'll post the PM here (but hide my email):

I went to gamesas.com and signed up an account (username1) - used my email address for this (my@mail.dk).

Went into crysis 2 and tried to logon with my newly created account.

Ok - Ingame Crysis 2 says my pass is incorrect - went back to gamesas.com entered user/pass; and logged in. hmmm well back to Crysis 2 (in game login). Crysis 2 still insists that my pass is incorrect (Conclution someone is probably already using username1 on an ingame account)

So... In Crysis 2 I went ahead and created a new account (username2) used same email address as on gamesas.com and now I can logon to the game....

Well... Now I do in fact have two accounts for Crysis 2; one for gamesas.com and one for ingame Crysis 2. (both tied to the same email address)

BUT... When I ingame (logged in as username2) press "gamesas" to redeem my preorder content, I get redirected to gamesas.com, but logged in as username1

And... Now I dare not redeem my content, for I am unsure if it will be tied to username1 or username2

Furthermore...

I went to gamesas.com and deleted the "username1" account, so I could make a new account with "username2" (same as the ingame account).

But now when I try to create a new account with "username2" and my email address it says:

Then I try to click "forgot password"

Whoohuu my account must have been deleted - NOT

I go to create new account - BUT

This is kind of a deadlock...

Now it would be very nice to know:
Is there any link at all, between accounts created INGAME and accounts created on gamesas.COM?? I also have a GameSpyId called "username2" tied to my email address.

Bottom line - I can login to the MP, but I have no way of redeeming my preorder content...

(Funny thing is the account username1 (Writing on the forum aswell) that I am logged into right now, here on gamesas.com, is the deleted account?)

Very strange :)

Hope you can help :) Would love to merge the two accounts into either "username2" or "username1"

EDIT: I can't sign in manually here on gamesas at all, not with username1, username2 or my@mail.dk? The only reason I can write this, is because gamesas does a auto login when I click the "Forum" link in the menu...

I'm surprised they ignored pages and pages of complaints during the demo and then acted shocked when it happened at retail; I'm even more surprised they are now nearing the 1 week mark without a fix for such a critical; show stopping account problem. Other companies would be beside themselves with worry; panicking and getting a beta fix out ASAP; but crytek seems to be taking this far too casually...
