I have been playing F:NV for a while now and apart from the odd graphical glitches here and there things ran pretty well...until last night. All of a sudden it takes longer for my games to save. This sounds fairly trivial, but every time, and I mean every time, I enter a building, change rooms, or use fast travel the game slows down for the auto ave feature. If I have the radio playing I can hear the game is stuck in a loop until it sorts itself out. Has anyone had this problem? My specs are above and beyond what is required and I have been playing almost two weeks without this problem.

Also, my connection to Steam seems to be okay as well.

If you make a regular game save does it take an extra-long time, or is it only the autosaves? It might be worth making one regular save, then deleting your other game saves and trying again; maybe the autosave file is damaged and it's having difficulty overwriting it.
