I read the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Strange_Man_at_Gindrala_Hleran%27s_House about it, but it says "There's a bug that can prevent", so my question is: there's a way to avoid the bug?

I play on Xbox, so I'm not able to use use Console commands.

No fix on Xbox.... unless you have never killed a generic Dreamer before. But since this dialog also requires you have done some of the Main Quest, and since they spawn in all the Sixth House bases, you have probably killed many Dreamers.

This bug exists in the vanilla game because the Variables for the dialog are using the wrong IDs.

oh...so I simply can't do that quest? :\
