strange map problem

hi all...

Suddenly I have a strange map problem! the map itself, minus most icons, is centered, but my place-curser and most of the icons are off the the right on a blank sheet.

it is now fixed.

but I wonder.....
with my large load order posted on the next post below, I wonder what large quest mods that I can still add?

I found that, for instance, Totf has a quest conflict with??? lost spires or aquanious.
and HOD needs a character of 15 or higher, i read.

at this point, nearly every new mod will see red conflict marks in tesedit!

anyway, i thank you all for taking a look, and please comment more on my load order too. I have taken out a couple of the ul patches, i think, and so....

It sounds like you have a map mod that changes the size of the original map. Make sure that that map plugin is loading lost. BOSS should place those plugins correctly unless you are using a really obscure mod. What map mod are you using? A load order would help...

I am using the currant map marker overhaul with darn. OOO too, but it worked with OOO when i began the game. I added a few mods since. probably one of those mods that *looks* to add six hammers , to the gameworld, but it ends up messing up the castle ruins graphics!

Map Marker Overhaul should make no difference, that only adds icons etc., not the map itself.

Have you installed an actual map as well? Like Elven Map , or one from my compilations (linked in my signature.) The map itself probably won't have an esp/esm file , so not in load order. But some maps require an dextra esp file in order to realign the map icons to fit its different size.

That load order needs to be purged. BC needs to be updated. That, or there are some unnecessary UL patches floating in it from something else. It looks like both. I'm surprised that the biggest issue is a bunch of offset map markers...

Just put the http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26329 last in your LO (must be loaded last) and the map icons should be corrected. :)

You can also safely remove these two mods, because one of them is already in the latest UOP version and other one is almost obsolete.

UOP Vampire Aging & Face Fix.esp - included in UOP 3.3.3Oblivion Citadel Door Fix.esp - is not essential

Also, how many console books do you need? It looks like you have two sets added by separate mods, and I think there is also a set in COB, unless that just pertains to COBL. I haven't checked...

If you look at your load order, there are a number of UL patches with similar names. Any UL patch for which there is a BC version, you should only use that version and get rid of any from the UL Patches separate Nexus page. I'm a little busy now, but I may have time to go through your load order more carefully later and point them out.

Those kind of FPS ranges with BC doesn't sound odd unless you are using a really nice system. Most of your LO is comprises visual enhancements. Add the FPS patches for BC if you do not already have them (or continue playing with a min FPS of 8.) Get the Oblivion Stutter Remover from TESNexus, and be sure to read the ReadMe. It is very clear about which option to choose, recommended settings, etc.

UPDATE: Do you have the latest version of BC? Did you install two copies of BC? You should only have the UL patches from the BC archive installed for BC. Get rid of these duplicates.

I checked the COBL thing, and it only contains a few console commands. I guess those separate mods are more extensive. Removing the duplicate UL patches is more serious though. Make sure you don't have any non-BC version of those patches installed as well. I don't remember seeing any duplicates of that kind, but double check anyway.
