So I was loading music onto my new iPod Touch, and after adding the albums into iTunes, I noticed that three albums I had purchased from the iTunes store had some very odd bug. The tracks from all three albums all show a total length of 789 hours, 57 minutes, and 13 seconds (789:57:13). iTunes will not play these albums, and as such, wont load them on my iPod.

Now I know what you're thinking, the music is bugged. This is not the case however. The music will play just fine in foobar2000 and VLC, and show the correct track length. It is only iTunes that is having this problem. I've tried using the iPod plugin component for foobar2000 before, but I had really mixed results with it (such as all my cover art getting mixed up, or removed outright), so I'm not looking to try it again.

Search results do turn up results, but for errors importing CDs. These are albums that I have purchased directly from iTunes, and were on my previous iPod with no trouble. I'm at a loss. I figured I'd check to see if anyone else has had this problem before I go bug Apple Support.

Burn them to a disc as audio files (not MP3s), re-rip them to itunes, voila.

As someone who makes a habit of using Lossless audio formats, I'd prefer to not go from one lossy format to another

And yes, I'm aware that the iTunes format is lossy. I'd prefer to not further degrade the quality of my music.

Have you tried deleting them from your iTunes library and re-importing them?

And the apple forums are probably a better place to ask.
