Do you have any strange rituals you perform in Skyrim?


For example, if someone you "care about" dies, then you lift them up and down to the river, no matter how far it is.
So the dead one follow the water so the sins can be washed away while the soul goes to the buttom of the sea heaven, where the soul shall rest in peace.


Or maybe, when you wrk for Dark Brotherhood, you have a special way to murder someone.
Not that you're a serial killer, but you have a ritual?
Maybe you use a special poison or lay a specific flower next to the victim?


I don't know, I just ask..

I do this on my assassin character. Only on people I assassinate though. I put a nightshade flower on the corpse so people know it was me who did it.

The first time I met the "Old orc" I gave him a funeral by the river, with an axe in his hands. Malacath be praised.

I must do that thing with an assasin (leaving flowers or other totem) , sounds fun.

One character I played had Lydia as a follower.
When she died My character laid her out in as peacefull a position I could and placed flowers all around her.

When a follower dies, I have a private funeral for them. Leave them in a place they're unlikely to be disturbed, and surround them with weapons and armors taken from whatever group of foes brought them down (though, admittedly, I'm the only one who can actually kill them, as a rule.) Flowers, tokens from our travels together, and food and drink round out the things I array around them. I only started doing this recently, but it works for me.

I leave one septim on any dragons I kill, but nothing else.

would be great if we could transport the bodies through the gates, we help bring the bodies to the hall of the dead.

in my assassin i put an arrow in his forehead.

When I destroyed The Dark Brotherhood, I dropped all the assassin's notes I'd collected on Gabriella's corpse. And when I killed Calixto Corrium at the end of the Blood on the Ice quest, I dropped a bunch of the "Beware the Butcher" pamphlets on his corpse. Not really rituals per se. More like ironic statements regarding what I thought of their actions and ideas. But it seems closely related enough to the subject to bear mentioning in this thread.
