Strange CS saving issue

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 1:12 am

Hello everyone, I am wondering why I am having this bizzare issue with the CS, it's preventing me from continuing work on my mod until I fix it.

Pretty much, I can do landscaping, but then when I save the CS only saves what I have modified in that session, so I'd have to go and move every little object placed or moved etc in the slightest amount for them to save right.

Is there some setting that's causing this? A workaround other than what I just mentioned? I need to fix this because I won't be able to tweak every object when I want to save, the mod I'm making is a massive landscape overhaul.

I think i might know the issue here. Did you make the mod you're working on the active mod? When you just select mods without making one active, the changes you made that session are the only things saved (like you described). Select your mod and click 'set as active file' so that all your changes go to that esp. This may not be your problem, but I thought I'd suggest it in case it works...

EDIT: made a picture of the 'active' button I told you to click: http://s391.photobucket.com/albums/oo351/Spiffyman777/?action=view¤t=Active.jpg

Active mods? I never used the "active mod" thing because I never knew what it was, but I'll try this, thank you so much! I really needed help here.

EDIT: It works! YES!! ThankYouThankYouThankYouThankYouThankYouThankYouThankYouThankYouThankYouThankYou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much, really, you've saved me so much trouble. Now I can actually make this mod without stuff getting deleted.
