Strength Video Uploaded

Post » Wed Dec 02, 2015 12:28 am

I have no doubt that the chart featured in the video is exactly the same one we have all been looking at for several weeks. It even shows P6 and P7 the wrong way round, just like the perk chart images we have all seen. To many people, the images on the chart are 'identical' to the short clips at the end of the video, but this is the point. Most people will not even give this a second thought. But on closer inspection, they are in fact very different.

But I agree with you that it is not complex. This is a very simple and ingenious example of 'sleight of hand' on Bethesda's part. And my interpretation is due to the fact that I never simply take things on face value, but instead I look at the smaller details that many people miss. In case you were not aware, I managed to predict over 30 included features or gameplay elements seen in the E3 footage simply by anolysing the official trailer using the same method I have applied here.

The video clips themselves have been very clearly 'spliced together'. Also, the best evidence is always that which will later be proven as fact. But thank you for your concern

Again, I appreciate what you're saying, but I intend to keep the Strength line-up exactly as it is based on all available evidence (some of which has not yet been posted as it relates to a new thread that I am working on).

Except Im not talking about clips, Im talking about the actual chart we see at around 0:29, which we can clearly see all three pip boy icons, in the strength row.

If you look very carefully at the chart in the video (as well as the one we have all been looking at over the past few weeks), and compare it with the contents of the short clips at the end of the video, you will see that there are a number of significant differences, which I have outlined above.

:bonk:

The video was great, not what I expected but whatever. It just reinforces the notion that for whatever reason Bethesda will not show anymore of FO4 until Nov. 10th.

I would call them minor, or at least not strong enough to dismiss the obvious facts before us, sometimes things are just as simple as they are, aka some thing you actually can take at face value, both extremes are just as bad in that reguard.

And yet the icon on the chart for S3 clearly shows a rocket standing upright on the table. This is not a 'minor' difference, but is in fact quite a significant piece of evidence. Once the next video has been released, things should be a little clearer in terms of the perk line-up. In the meantime, the perks I have suggested under Strength will remain as they are on my thread.

Thats the gas tube for the welder, you see the exact tube on the S4 perk, so unless there is two rocket themed strength perks in a row, thats no rocket.

Check it again, Johnny Guitar.

In both the S3 and S4 perks, you can see that the red thing is behind the table, not on it.

This statement seems to be accurate I checked the photo the above person linked AND the one from Gk's thread both look like they're in fact behind the table rather than on it.

In S3 there is an upright rocket on the table (right next to VB) which appears to be a replica of the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Delta_IX_rocket from Fallout 3. If you zoom in, you can even see the windows, cockpit, and nose cone. In S4, the table is empty, and VB has his head lowered and his shoulders dropped, and he looks 'disappointed', hence the name Crushing Blow. Also, in the leaked Gamescom footage, you can see in the same image that VB has his empty fist raised above the table, which suggests that as part of the animation, he delivers a 'crushing blow' onto the surface of the table. Note that this last piece of evidence came to light quite some time after I posted the original perk suggestion, and yet it appears to be consistent with the rest of my evidence.

The 'red thing' is a gas cylinder and the white object next to it is a tube used for launching homemade rockets. This can be seen in both images, first on the right, and then on the left. I have mentioned this in the descriptions of both perks in my OP. Note that this setup is intentionally very similar to the two cylinders seen in the video, which are actually the cylinders from the Weapons Workbench, and are both attached via tubes. These tubes, as well as the valves at the top of the cylinders, are missing from the icons on the chart. The rocket to which I refer in S3 is light grey with a dark grey nose cone, and is on the table right next to VB. The end of the nose cone is around the same height as the 'point' at the front of his hair', which is also around halfway up the circular vent seen in the background of the image.

Sorry to tell you but that is a Welding kit. (They use 2 different tanks, usually) and they are very much behind the table. V.B. is in the exact same position for both the images on the chart and the images in the cartoon. Only difference is one is colored and one is black and white.

By all means stick to your guns if you like, but don't be too disappointed in how far off you are come Nov 10th.

I see what you're talking about now, but I don't see what you're talking about. I see a poorly defined gray thing. The charts actually makes it look like a Dalek to me.

Just my thoughts but I think the hints about the perk for modding armor will either be for both regular armor ( piece fabrication) and power armor ( possibly fabrication but also movement) and for weapon modding perk it might just be for melee based weapons.
