Sometimes I need Strong to be ranged. I'm having a very HARD time finding anything that He can equip.

Pipe weapons for sure-they are super weak.

One type of hunting rifle..only two or three shots per.

I can't get him to equip any type of Lazer weapon.

or anything else.

I am his leader..

In My current Game Strong looted an Assault Rifle, and I just keep Him equipped with lots of 5.56 Ammunition.

He has equipped many Weapons He looted from Opponents, but the Oaf has never used the Super Sledge I purchased for Him. He often used what appears to be a Short Laser Rifle before getting the Assault Rifle, and I do keep His ranged Ammunition Stocked.

EDIT Looked in His Inventory, He likes "Short" Rifles.

Ok back in game..Not able to equip him with -any- Lazer.. Short or otherwise.. Not even the ones he picks up.

Am able to equip him with Assault rifle and hunter rifle.. That's it..

Is this a bug?

Strong no need shooty sticks, Strong needs to SMASH!

Strong need shooty sticks when enemies are half a block over our heads on top of a building or something.

Laser Rifles should be in his wheelhouse, not pistols though.

Then Strong simply climb puny building, then SMASH!

You have no list of guns for him to use?

I need help with guns he can use and this bug I apparently have..

I tried every single laser in my for sale trunk (lots)

From Institute to other.. Short or long

No joy.. He could not equip a single one of them.

Usually, weapons super mutants use Strong will also use. He especially likes pipe guns and hunting rifles.

I took one laser rifle off of a mutant we had just killed and gave it to Strong and ..
