dagoth ur? really guys? I included him to be politcally correct: he was killed by the Nevarine, who in0turn (in my opion) is a Shezzarine (which, in my opinion, is a category including the Hoon Ding)

The HoonDing can't be the Shezzarine, because they're not even for Shezarr. If anything, they're a hell of a lot more merish in their beliefs, and the idea of Shezarr is very pro-Mundus. Just because the HoonDings are giant ass kickers, doesn't mean they're Shezzarines.

And the Nerevarine I'd say is also not a Shezzarine, only the incarnate of Nerevar, and Nerevar wasn't one either.

In order to be a Shezzarine, you have to be of Shezarr.

I use the term to mean an avatar/mortal version/incarnite of Lorkan/shor/Shezzar/Tall Papa. Actually, I think that all the TES heros were Shezzarines during the time their games were set, which is one of the reasons they can do things that nobody else can, even in Lore: IE, the CoC can use the magic of the Runestones, but the mages guild isn't even sure that ther IS magic in the runestones.

That right there is incorrect. I'm very sure Tall Papa is not even closely related to Shor/Lorkhan/Shezarr in Redguard myth. Sep, the second serpent, by far is the closet thing to Lorkhan.

The only one close to being the Shezzarine is the CoC. Just because you are an ass kicker, doesn't make you the Shezzarine.

What exactly are HoonDings?

HoonDing-The Make Way God. Yokudan spirit of 'perseverance over infidels'. The HoonDing has historically materialized whenever the Redguards need to 'make way' for their people. In Tamrielic history this has only happened three times-twice in the first era during the Ra Gada invasion, once during the Tiber War. In this last incarnation, the HoonDing was said to have been either a sword or a crown, or both.

Ooh... your right.

just read through the TIL on Redguard myths... this is what I get for using the UESP lore sections "God Appendix" because of the chart...

Like what has been said too many times, UESP is terrible in the lore department, but great for gameplay.

The adoring fan. Hes been pushed off a cliff SOOO many times. And he still lives.

Indeed, he is immortal... if we add some montage to it...

But the best is the character we play. He is the best... if we beat the game, that is.

Sleeping Beauty could only be awakened by the right Prince. Dagoth Ur could only be awakened by the right Nerevar. Romantic, yes?

So The HoonDing is a Redguard last resort, only showing up when they're in trouble? Or did I totally misunderstand what you said?

Dagoth Ur. he was on the rise while the false gods were on the way down. Even if he wasn't the most powerful, it would only be a matter of time before he would be.

Anyone who is actually a god is just as powerful as eachother. I'm assuming the poll is considering everyone in thier prime.

There is no hierarchy. The Aedra may have the exception with the creation on mundus, but, depending on your views, Akatosh may balance it out, and also Dagoth Ur, as below. Vivec is just as powerful as Azura, who is just as powerful as Sheogorath, who is just as powerful as Sotha Sil, etc.

With what we see in-game, though, I'd have to go with Dagoth Ur. I believe (no proof - just another crazy theory) that he went quite as crazy as he did because he extracted more power than a single god. Standard godhood doesn't seem to have caused insanity. All I've saw myself are people wanting power, not going crazy and killing unneccesarily, just trying to get power (ala Almalexia). I mean, he beat off three gods (the Tribunal), and practically powers other gods (Ash Vampires).

I think that Lorkhans heart constantly emitted the power of a god, and tapping into it for a prolonged period of time would give you the even more than the power of a god. Again, just a crazy theory.

I'd have to go with Dagoth Ur.
