I strongly dislike player voice and backstory.

i don't like the backstory either, but we can't change that, we can concenrtate on the story we or our protagonists create, and go on

Nothing says your a good guy except...

1. someone was willing to marry you despite your tendency towards human sacrifice and cannibalism.

2. You decided to serve your country by joining the military instead of through drug dealing, human trafficking, devil worship, and political corruption.

3. Your searching for your baby for any other reason than for a delicious snack. Only good guys love their kids.

4. You start the game in your home in the suburbs instead of in a windowless cell where they feed you through a sliding tray in the wall.

Starting the game as an advlt person is OK, but let us fill in the details regarding their past and who they are.

Erm...the backstory is just one sentence:

"You were a soldier with a wife and a baby."

If you're playing the female character than it's:

"You were a lawyer with a husband and a baby."

That's it!

Who tells you, that you and your partner were a nice couple in an american suburb? Maybe you were psycopaths, who stole that baby from your neighbors back in the time when you lived in Kansas, eating rednecks all day, bathing in their blood?^^

Get yourself some imagination powers for gods sake and don't blame Bethesda for you not beeing creative...

Me too. The loving family man/woman set up. It's pretty lame. I do like the game though.

And 'my' voice ain't my 'voice'.
