Stuck compass : V

My compass became stuck in-game. Not sure exactly where but it was in Markarth somewhere.

Anyway, tried a reload and it's now stuck on North. Tried a savegame from before the issue: same thing. Tried starting a new game: same thing again.

I'm running through SKSE with SkyUI, Arrowsmith, Lockpicking, Community College. I have tried validating the files via steam but to no avail.

I also looked at turning the compass off via My Documents>My Games>Skyrim>SkyrimPrefs and changing bShowCompass to 0, but it's still there. The addition of MinimalUI mod did nothing but move the compass itself.

Any ideas?

Well it's fixed. I installed the NVidia 320.49 driver update but it was not fixed and it made Skyrim pause for a second every 15 secs or so. I then reinstalled 314.22 and it's now all working perfectly. I don't know if the two are related but it's fixed...

It was driver related then...
