I cant get the next quest from Elijah even though i have gathered all 3 party members at the fountain, what am i doing wrong?

how cant you get the next quest from Elijah. can you not talk to him? or does he not realize that you have got the 3 people together?

When i talk to him he just tells me to gather 3 party members.

Are all the party members actually standing near the fountain? They might still be making their way their if not

Yes 2 of them is there the last party member is with me, however it is Dog/God and i cant kick him. Could this could be what is screwing it up?

Maybe, i think its just a glitch, try and move around a bit, go back to a earlier save if you can and see if it happens again.

Problem with earlier save is that i most likely gonna go back to before i recruited Dog and he was the first person i recruited, so i have to restart it all in other words.

Get God out then tell him to leave

Neither God nor dog speaks to me, God just says bring Dog out and dog says the same, plus that he is hungry.

This is a stupid question and I'm sorry to be the one to ask it. Did you actually click on the projector attached to the base of the fountain?

Yes as i said, he asks me why i haven't gathered all 3 yet, when they are all standing in front of him and i have no more quests.

im having the same F***ing problem and im p****ed. i have played through 2 times. the first time i took dog or whatever he wants to be called and could not get rid of him .... then i did it with out taking any of the companions and the A****** tells me to recruit all 3 still... but the F****** are there .... i think i want a damn refund ggrrrrrr...... but if you find a way past please let me know

I read in IGN review that taking god from jail is a game fail. No more quests will be given.

Ok I got this same problem when I bought the DLC. You need to load a save from before you started the DLC, then uninstall it, go into the Abandoned BoS Bunker, update New Vegas, install Dead Money again, then continue on. Make sure you do all of this in the order I listed it in. Let me know if I helped.

I gave this DLC a 2nd go last night and i never recruited God since i already had a party member with me, so he couldn't join. Now it works. Seriously this game and its bugs... You should give console owners access to the console too, so we can fix some of the issues.

I too am STUCK! This is EXTREAMLY frustrating...

This is svckin pretty big time...

If you have a party member w/ you, they teleport to the fountain. Wait for them to walk out of the door, zone across areas, and when you get to the fountain they'll be there.

Just in case...
- talk to each one at the fountain. Learn how to make fake chips from Christine and how to make Sierra Madre Martinis from Dean.
- Dog/God don't teach anything special.

God/Dog
- God is easy to recruit. High intellect helps w/ him. You just need to treat him nicely and he'll join w/out incident. Not much to it. He'll ask you not to bring dog back. Tell him you will prove you won't call out dog because you have the power to do so. Reaffirm that you just want to get out of there. Listen to his story. He'll tell you that he keeps the key on his back.

I've hardly called out Dog. I dismember Ghost People w/ my fist weapon. It's all good. God is cool switching personalities. You can make them swich by playing different sound clips on your pip boy. Play them in his presence and he'll initiate a conversation when he switches personalities.

I erased DM from my XBOX hard drive. And then reloaded it.

This time, when I played the game out, for the 2nd TIME!
I looted the police station and ignored dog. I then freed the girl and added her as my companion.
Together we told the Gual to meet us at the fountain and then freed god, not dog, and told him to meet us at the fountain.
The girl and I then high tailed it back to the fountain.
THE OLD FART STILL CANNOT TELL WE ARE ALL PRESENT!

What is the actual work around on this?
I am sick of guesses.
I need to hear from someone who has actually faced this glich and fixed it.
Or I need to hear from someone who actually works for Bethesda…

and yes i even dumped the girl as my companion at the fountain,
she took her place. I spoke to her and the guel added them both as companons and dropped them both too.
The moron dog/god can not be added nor dropped. He just whines about being hungry.

And STILL the old fart has not clue we are all present.

Steadfast I think you have to release Christine as a companion at the fountain and then Elijah talks to you. That's how it was with me. You can't have any companions following you they need to be able to do what Elijah tells them to do.

Updated game
Got God out
Got ghoul
Left God at fountain
Got the mute
Went back to fountain
Talked to old fart

I had the same thing happen. I noticed that I was not getting any xp points. I had to dump the download and reload it then everything was fine.
