Stuck Door Problem At "SI The Helpless Army" Quest

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 12:02 am

Hi All

I am stuck at this quest because of a stuck door. I came to the stronghold of Aureals, joined the remaining Aureals, proceeded deeper and at the third level they turned to stone because flow of their wellspring has been halted. At the end of this section, there is a door which leads to Chamber of Wellspring but it is stuck and can't be opened even with the console command of "unlock". Is there a way to open this door or do i have to use "setstage" command. I wonder why it was stuck :swear:

Do anybody have "Oblivion Animation Fixer" and upload it for me. I couldn't find it on internet and i guess it can solve my problem

Thanks

Don't you have to break the crystals using bells or something? Sorry I can't help anymore.

Not a good idea to just randomly use the console on things.

You have to ring all four of the chimes in the room.

I rang all the chimes and broke all the crystals. The door i am trying to open is a regular wooden door, not one of the crystal ones.

I'm not sure what door we're talking about. If you rang the chimes and broke the crystals, the spring should be flowing.

Have you talked to the golden saint captain Issmi after you got the Wellspring to flow again?
Other than that, maybe check around for press button switches on a wall somewhere in the room?
Maybe it's one of those doors where the switch is on the other side? If so, then you are meant to come out of that door later, after entering another part of the dungeon first.

Almost certainly this. There's a short-cut that only works in one direction. You can't use the door on the way in, only on the way out.
