Ok So I've been playing for a while now and I seem to of hit an impasse... I've reached level 57 and the bar filled up but will not level up to 58??? I've completed quest after quest, killed several Dragons but still NO level 58??? is there anything I can do to level up?

Sounds like all the skills you use are all at 100 and you're one point away from the next level.

Okay. Well first off, check what your skill levels are as suggested by Kor'Ah. Otherwise, judging from my Google searches, it seems that you have two options:

1. Load an older save. 2. Start a new character.

Corrupt save files can be a [censored], I'm afraid.

Regardless, you should still stick around just in case somebody knows of a magical fix.

Levels aren't based on quests, they're based on skill level increases. You can kill 1,000 dragons but if you aren't using a skill that can increase, you won't level.

1. Work on skills that are not at 100. You can do that through use or buying skill points from trainers.

2. If you have patch 1.9, make some of those skills "Legendary" to reset them to 15 and they should level normally.

I should have thought about that. Yes, that is important.

thanks for the help guys... seems I had 5 skills that were at level 100 that I never really paid attention to. after making a few legendary and after working on Alchemy potions it leveled up. So once again thanks for the help.
