Please help me, for I am stuck. I am attempting to start the quest were you meet Caesor for the first time(Render Unto Caesar) I do believe it is called, but everytime I go near the dock, even when I tell them I have the mark, the Legionaires attack me. I put on a Legionaire unniform and managed to sneak into the camp, but they still won't let me in Caesars tent without attacking me. I need to know if there is anyway I can get the chip from the camp without blasting my way through the Legion.

If it helps, I have Boone and Rex as companions, and I since I was given the mark I completed Wild Card: Side Bets, All of the Quests involving the Boomers, the quests from the NCR Embassy in New Vegas, and all of the Brotherhood of Steel Hidden Valley quests.

boone absolutely hates the legion, he shouts at them and shoots on sight, and the way the game is made, they shoot back at u first, tell him to leave or go to the lucky 38, then u can do the quest

hmmmm, did you check to see how they feel towards you? maybe they hate and won't forgive.

You need to lose Boone.

It doesn't matter what YOUR rep with the Legion is, Boone, in effect, negates it by making them all 'red'...because he wants to kill every last one and won't pay any attention to what you may want in that regard.

Edit: btw, you CAN go in w/Boone if you really want....you just can't do it peacefully/work with the Legion. heh

I'm able to visit Caesar after getting the mark and keeping Boone as a companion. I just have him wait at the Safe House with ED-E. It doesn't affect how the Legion regard me because he isn't right there with me.

Boone makes it abundantly clear that he's going to shoot anything wearing red before you even walk into Cottonwood Cove.

"If I see red, I'm taking the shot. You got a problem with that?"

If you want to meet with Caesar, then yes you have a problem with Boone's hate toward CL. Leave him behind.

Alright thanks. If I just tell him to wait somewhere, would that work? Or do I specificaly have to tell him to go to 38?

I never send him to the 38. Just have him wait somewhere but not close.
