Hello, Im having and issue with my Fallout 4, i went offline when visiting grandparents and there is no internet out there and i brought fallout 4 and my xbox and i could play offline, but now im back home and i connect and i am trying to sync data from xbox live, but im stuck on the screen where it says Syncing data for Fallout 4... and its been like that for about 15-20 minutes or so, and its getting really frusterating, is there a fix for this?, i also deleted my local data after i came across this, and now im stuck on "Syncing Data for Fallout 4..."

Edit: as of now, i am reinstalling the game, i hope this fixes the issue.

I'm having the same exact issue, syncing game data with no percentage and no matter how long I leave the game running, it will never get past it. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game (which did nothing, just a waste of time) and I tried canceling the sync which left me into the title screen after a long wait and when I went to load my character, I noticed I was missing a huge portion of my game saves, so instead of loading a save up, I exited out of the game to try again. Now even if I try to cancel the sync it wont bring me to the title screen. I hope there is a fix for this, as it is extremely frustrating and only got an automated admin response when I tried contacting support that gave me a list of FAQ's that had nothing to do with my issue. :/ Hopefully it gets fixed, otherwise I wasted 90 dollars for the game and the season pass :/

Same issue. Apparently Fallout doesn't save the games to the Xbox hard drive; because when I went offline there was no saved games (the load option was grayed out).

Today out of the blue starting fallout I got the "Syncing data for Fallout 4" message but no progress. Tried many things to fix it - hard reset, regular reboots, exiting game and starting another and then coming back, even deleting my profile from the Xbox. Nothing worked. Xbox support was stumped too. Obviously all of my saves were only in the cloud but somehow the game isn't seeing them.

Left the game on the syncing message for a while and eventually it started to show progress. Took a very long time. At some point the Xbox just powered off! When I restarted it and went into fallout it showed the game menu but without saves. If I exited and launched mine craft and went back, it said syncing message again. If I let it eventually start to sync after 10% or so it would go to the fallout loading screen as if I pressed any button to continue in a normal setting - and stayed there for ages. This is the screen with the gamer tag at top left and the loading icon at bottom right. The result of this is the Xbox shutting off. This is now the cycle I experience.

I've got well over 100 hours in the game. I spent my entire winter break on it when I had down time. It's literally what I do to unwind from work. This should not be stressful.

I really need help getting this resolved and it seems like others have the problem yet nobody wants to own it. The game saves must be in the cloud somewhere...
