So i entered the institute and over the speaker some guy talks about how im looking for my son and he wants to speak to me me face to face but i cant go anywhere and nothing prompts..im just stuck. Please help, idk what to do here.....................

Where exactly are you stuck?

You are supposed to walk down the hall and get in the elevator. Do NOT hit the button when inside, just wait. If you did hit it, load the autosave and try again.

Stuck? Like your character cannot move, stuck like you can't figure where to go or stuck in that you are standing in an elevator, have been there for more than a minute, and it doesn't move, etc?

I think I know the problem, sometimes trying to talk to Shaun screws up because you have to really hug the window for the "talk to shaun" prompt shows up.

I just entered the institute and went into the elevator. ill try an autosave and not touch the elevator buttons.

youre right cider, I couldn't talk to the kid behind the glass until I found the perfect spot..things are happening now, I should be able to advance from here, thx guys..
