I'm currently on The nuclear option, But instead of finding the tunnel going into the institute.. I fast traveled straight into it. Now I can't escape it.

I've got to the point where it gives me the option to go to the reactor, and talk to Preston.. But because they didn't travel with me, I can't do this

Hopefully i've not totally messed up, and there's a way around this?

I can't go back to an earlier save, because it's autosaved too many times in the same place.

How did you fast travel to the Institute, shouldn't you be banished at that point? The end of the pipe comes right out by the relay you first used at the bottom of the elevator, so if you go back there you maybe able to go back along the pipe into the river to escape...? Doubt it will be open though as I think you remove a panel to get in or something.

Sorry, I tell a lie, I forgot I actually walked straight into the institute, Now all the doors are blocked leading to father etc, I can't use the lift...and when I do reach the reactor.. Nothing happens apart from being infected with rads.

Let me guess, you cheated your way inside using console or something like that. Well use console again to teleport yourself out. You probably broke the game though, oh well.

No, I cant use console commands...Because it's the PS4 version.

You need to reload a saved game. Whatever you did, broke the game questlines.

All of my saves are auto saves and are in the institute...looks like there's nothing I can do.

I'm confused. How did you "walk straight into the institute"? I only played that part onec, but from what I remember you either have to fast tracel, or use the tunnel. And if you use the tunnel, you have to have the code for a gatwe to get into the institute. I think stuges gives it to you
