Hello fellow Vault Dwellers. I come to you today because I'm stuck in what I believe to be a glitch and I would love some suggestions on how to fix it. (this is on the PS4, so console commands aren't available unfortunately)

I'm currently on the Molecular Level quest, I have just finished building the teleporter (or whatever it's called) and powered it up. My next objective was to talk to Elder Maxon, but when I try to talk to him he just says he's busy like he's supposed to be in a animation doing something but he just walks around the teleporter. I've tried a few random things, mostly punching him. That didn't work. If anyone has any suggestion please let me know!

Similar problem, he was in an inaccessible location for me.

Have you tried reloading the game before you began building? Or maybe sleeping and asking again?

I'd have to check my save files but I don't think I do. Long story short I messed up and fast traveled to get some more supplies in the middle of building it so unless autosave files don't save over each other then no. I've done other other quests and stuff to see if it'll change over time but it hasn't. I wonder if making him fight me and then running away could reset him. I'm not sure if he'll try and fight me again when I show back up but it's worth a shot I guess.
