I am reposting this from general discussion as it seems this is a more approprite location.

I have completed the main quest in OWB and want to step outside into the Big MT, but everytime I try the game crashes to the desktop. I have tried the elevator from the lab, from the sink and balcony doors. One time I managed to get out by turning off all data files except FalloutNV and OWB, and thought that was the solution, but I didnt save outside and I havent been able to reproduce that sucessful exit.

I did check the files with steam and it said there were two files that didnt verify, and they were 're-aquired', whatever that means. It didnt help.

I am running on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, 8GB RAM, GTX480 video.

Also, prior to finishing the main quest I was seeing what many others have described, an amazing number of game crashes to desktop and game freezes. I think the fallout series is terrific, but I am one of many who dont understand how this game can be continued to be sold when so many people see the same crashing problems.

Anyway, I would like to be able to go back out and explore the parts of Big MT that i missed. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
