I am running Fallout 3 with the latest patch and Broken Steel, and cannot proceed at times when I am supposed to lose consciousness/control. Dialogue stops, and while I can continue to look around, I can't do anything more when receiving power armor training (I had to use a cheat to get it), or while at Oasis (I get stuck at the purification ceremony). Worst of all, when I am ambushed in Vault 87, I am stuck lying on the floor, staring up at Col. Augustus Summers, unable to pass out and be kidnapped! Is there any way for me to move on? I have tried uninstalling, and using a friend's copy of FO3, with no success on either count.

Whoa, dude - this is creepy. I am running FO3 GOTY on Win7 64-bit, and after some challenges early on, I've got it running fairly smooth. But I have had the EXACT 3 issues That are troubling you, exactly as you describe. Got hung up laying on the floor looking at Sumner & goons, ended up having to go to a good save a LONG ways back. Now (at level 20!) I have finally worked my way to the same scene, and am hung up again EXACTLY the same as before. In the interim, I got the same deal during my power training W/ Gunny as you did (had to skip the power armor & move on), and exact same deal as you at the purification ceremony. Apparently, I'm not going crazy by my lonesome.....
