Stuff to Do with the MAin Quest/Others

Post » Fri Dec 18, 2009 11:17 am

So I was given the mark of Caesar which was apparently supposed to help make the Legion neutral towards me so I can visit the Fort and talk to them/other stuff. Yet this isn't the case, I am under the impression I may have to restart the game. Little sad being level 26+ and at least having decent stuff and lots of caps that I worked for all gone.

I am playing on the 360 btw.

Make sure you have dismissed Boone from your party, and are not wearing any faction armor (NCR specifically, some others too). Boone cancels out the Mark of Caesar, making all Legion members hostile as long as he is in your party, whether he is physically with you or just waiting in another location.

I have never seen Boone in the game yet so thats not an issue. And I happened to have the Brother Hood armor when I went, I will attempted with a different armor on.

Edit: Didn't work. So much for the mark.

Did you kill any Legion members since getting the Mark? Or maybe went far enough along in the NCR quest line to lock out the Legion (completed Volare!)?

Not being able to talk to Caesar is not a game-breaking deal, it just means you can't help the Legion out on this playthrough. You can always go into the Fort guns blazing, kill everyone, and continue on with the House/NCR/Yes Man paths.
