ok, so i'm currently doing the second NCR quest, where i have to get the King to stop attack son NCR people in Freeside. However, for whatever reason, when I try to go to the Old Mormon Fort for the King, everybody becomes hostile for no reason! according to pipboy, my standing with the Followers is neutral, so they shouldn't attack me.

the only reason I can think is that when I refused to give Mr. House the Platinum Chip, I fled and it failed some quest I never started, which a wiki check said would have required me to bug Mr. Houses computer. when I failed it, I lost some followers standing, but I'm still at neutral. wtf?


is there any way to bring up relation enough or something so I won't be attacked? this also means I cant finish the wang dang atomic tango quest. I'll try waiting 36 hours, doubt it'll help though, since its been long past 36 hours since i did all that stuff.

Sounds like you hit the Strip early on or before you finished the quests outside of New Vegas. The same thing happened to me about a week ago - give or take a few days. I waited about a week down in Novac and made the trek back to the Strip - to no avail. They all hated me even though the relationship status indicated "Idolized".

My solution (which may not be the thing you want to do) I reloaded from an earlier save and did all the outside quests first.

is your weapon drawn? if it is, they shoot you. its best to holster your weapon around the NCR, that way they just think your a poor innocent wastelander, if there is such a thing.

NCR? Followers of the Apocalypse dude. and no its not. i thought of that.
