Convo condtions are all messed up in FNV, so we get all kinds of weird responses by npcs, check this out:

haha, I think Bitter Root knows where he is, he doesn't have to be told this, he is, after all, a member of First Recon team himself! Not that this bug will ever trigger in vanilla game due to various other bugs.
