He didn't change any game content, all he did was 'opening a door' that's not able to be opened normally.

And thanks to that, he can see what's inside the room. In this case, he can see Sturges' belongings, which one of them is a Synth component.

He's a synth. This isn't a question that needs to be answered by Bethesda directly. If you kill him, he has a synth component. It doesn't matter if you need a console command to make Sturges killable in the first place. That's not going to change his inventory or anything like that.

In your cheat world ,Have u killed every known human in fo4 to confirm that they don't drop synth components ?


Maybe there was going to be a quest that sterges hands you a synth component , and bethesda pulled it at the last min due to glitchies ,

Easy, pickpocket him, if he's just holding the component it will be in his inventory. If not he's a synth. You can kill settlers to find out if they are synths, then reload. No evidence whatsoever he is an alien though...what are you taking? Can you share?
