Sturges

Whats the deal with this bastard he says hes strong enough to rip the minigun off the vertibird yet he "doesnt do guns" (has a pipe pistol in his inventory) and Preston goes mad saying YOUR just gonna let all these random people die plus he looks like a mechanic or something but expects you to build everything whilst he pretends to fix houses...he should have been equipped with a slegdehammer at the least and been your master builder relying on you to provide raw materials while he builds the water pumps and [censored] as it is the pc just magically knows how to build all this stuff makes no sense. Its a great game (for combat) but all i see on these forums are people trying to justify stupid stuff with ridicoulous explanations for example i saw a topic on how stimpacks heal valentine who is clearly a [censored] robot and the reply was he "has skin" so im getting off topic here but the point is its just stupid and lazy.

The last part is called Gameplay and story segregation, they HAD top let nick be healed by stimpacks, otherwise, few to no one would use him, because he would be harder to be with then everyone else. heck ED-E was able to be healed by stimpacks in Fallout New vegas for the very same reason.

as for the building stuff thing, Once again, gamepaly reasons, the system would no nowhere NEAR as fun if you kept having to bring him all the stuff and let him build it. as for teh not fighting bit, you can have a gun, and not use it. He was likely terrified, or believes he would not be able to win if he wanted to fight. Not everyone in teh wasteland is Brave/Crazy like your character is.

WHY, in fallout 3, was it you that did anything with the BoS, you were not needed at all, but thanks to gameplay, you still ended up being praised. Why in New vegas, are you the person the factions send on the super important missions, even when you are new.

You would seriously trust a "Bethesda" AI to handle critical settlement decisions for you?

PS: That quest is the tutorial on settlement building, just not a good one.

So wait.. are we still taking about Sturges?

I don't know why, but I get a very Rob Schneider-y vibe from him.

Ok good reasons I guess but still a little more dialogue could have been added to him if just for aesthetic purposes regarding the building of settlements rather than just build this build that because i am a useless [censored] I suppose your just expendable in Vegas and well fallout 3...thats really depends on how you played.

edited because i am tired and didnt read that properly.

Sturges is a synth infiltrator. Do not trust him.

Game mechanics come first.

Logic ends when a dog can carry all your crap B)

It's not a post-apocalyptic simulation.
